Experienced Java Developer - Telecom Project
Bulgaria
Developers in this team work on a Mobile Telecommunications software in collaboration with other teams at the company, and are responsible for the maintenance and feature development of the BSS software for one of our clients.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Apply awesome coding skills to knocking features off the products’ executive and features list
  • Participate in periodic rapid refactoring that keeps the application code fresh, flexible and reusable
  • Participate in team meetings and report development progress to the management
  • Work together with QA, Solution Architects and BAs to clarify business requirements
  • Suggest improvements for better software quality
  • Provide inputs to the team in order to improve the development process
  • Recognize opportunities and adopt innovative technologies

Key requirements for the role:

  • 4+ years of proven experience designing, developing, and scaling high-volume Java Enterprise Applications
  • Fast, clean, efficient code implementation
  • Very good knowledge of Java 8, and software design practices
  • Very good knowledge and experience with Hibernate and Spring Data JPA/ Spring MVC
  • Good knowledge and experience with Maven, PostgreSQL, SOAP
  • Experience with Unit testing
  • Experience with Gitlab
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid verbal and communication skills
  • Knowledge or experience with Activiti framework or Thymeleaf is a plus

Database Developer
Bulgaria
A Database Developer is responsible for creating, administering, and troubleshooting our product’s system databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) that process large amounts of sensitive information and keep it secure. DB Developer duties include using code and web architecture to design data systems, analyze and maintain existing databases, and implement new features.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design database systems. Database Developers’ main responsibility is to analyze (together with back-end and front-end developers) the needs of our Product and prepare an effective database system according to specifications. This includes collecting data, analyzing the data, designing algorithms, drawing flowcharts, and implementing code for the logic developed through the algorithms and flowcharts.
  • Test databases. A database developer must be able to run performance testing procedures to ensure the proper operations of a database and to ensure that it’s error-free.
  • Develop database documentation. As a database is developed, the database developer must write documentation about the system and put together an operational manual. The documentation must include information regarding changes or improvements to the database as they are implemented.
  • Work with the front-end and back-end development teams to integrate the modules together.
  • Suggest improvements to current database systems.
  • Provide inputs to the team in order to improve the development process.
  • Recognize opportunities and adopt innovative technologies.

Key requirements for the role:

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle database;
  • Experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage;
  • Experience with version control system: Git;
  • Experience in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and documenting information systems;
  • Desire to learn and to be challenged;
  • Team work and time management skills;
  • Experience with Java is an advantage;
  • Advantage will be knowledge in Vue.js, Apache Tapestry, React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSD, XSLT;
  • Higher education in the field of information technology is an advantage;

  • Very good command of English;

IT Operations Specialist
Bulgaria
The Ops Team is an integral part of the ongoing and delivery process, as they provide the stability of our infrastructure through maintenance, troubleshooting and support of various Linux and Windows operating systems, Intelligent Network services, BSS applications, and databases, and work in close collaboration with all teams involved in the development and support of our products.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Conduct systems, applications & services support activities, such as troubleshooting, escalation and resolution of incidents completion of service requests raised by the customers
  • Perform routine monitoring, administration, and maintenance of the products & services within the managed environments
  • Identify patterns of application or system issues and escalate bugs to Development team for research
  • Partner with Development team to review proposed resolution for bugs and issues
  • Monitor issue reports to resolve issues
  • Provide correct routing and escalation when situations require it
  • Communicate status of issues with stakeholders and Operations Management written and verbally
  • Create and update existing documentation of processes and procedures
  • Assist management with development and maintenance of Operations procedures
  • Execute daily OPS operations, escalations, ticketing, and communications with customers
  • Ensure that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • Ensure correct and timely delivery of client Change requests

Key requirements for the role:

  • 3+ years previous related experience
  • Experience with Linux and Windows systems
  • Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of web servers like Tomcat/Wildfly
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle/MySQL/MSSQL/PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with troubleshooting applications, SoapUI, Postman
  • Experience with Java/C# programming is a major plus
  • Ability to work on complex process problems where in-depth analysis and data flow details are required
  • Excellent command of English
  • Experience with Telecom Business Support Systems (BSS) and/or billing systems is a great advantage
  • Russian language and Telecom knowledge are an advantage
